Terms of Service

Acceptance

By using booboo.dev, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service. You must be at least 18 years old or have the authority to bind the organization you represent. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.

The service

booboo.dev provides error tracking for software applications. You send us error events via our API, and we display them in a dashboard for your team to triage.

Intellectual property & data ownership

booboo.dev and its operators retain all rights to the service, including its code, design, trademarks, and documentation. Nothing in these terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you beyond the right to use the service as intended.

You retain full ownership of all data you send to booboo.dev. By using the service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your data solely for the purpose of providing and improving the service. When you delete your account, your data is removed in accordance with our data retention policy.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the data you send to booboo.dev. Do not send personally identifiable information (PII), credentials, secrets, or other sensitive data in your error events. You are responsible for keeping your DSN keys secure.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use booboo.dev for any illegal activities, to reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the service, or to resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the service without our written consent.

You must not interfere with or disrupt the service, its infrastructure, or other users' use of the service. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice.

Service limits

Free accounts are limited to 1 project, 10,000 events per month, and 7-day retention. Starter accounts are limited to unlimited projects, 50,000 events per month, and 30-day retention. We reserve the right to throttle or reject events that exceed these limits.

Billing & payments

Paid plans are billed monthly and auto-renew until cancelled. You can cancel anytime — your plan stays active until the end of the billing period. No partial refunds are issued for the remaining period.

Payments are processed by Stripe. You can manage your payment details through the Stripe billing portal accessible from your organization settings.

We will notify you at least 30 days before any price increase. Prices may be subject to applicable taxes.

Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uptime. booboo.dev is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, booboo.dev's total liability for any claims arising from or related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

In no event will booboo.dev be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, regardless of the cause of action or the theory of liability.

These limitations apply to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We may terminate accounts that abuse the service or violate these terms.

Modifications to the service

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. If we make a change that materially reduces the functionality you are paying for, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you at least 30 days in advance. In the event of a full discontinuation of the service, prepaid amounts for unused service will be refunded on a prorated basis.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of any changes.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms or the service will be resolved exclusively in the courts of Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
